HELENA 鈥?The Lewis and Clark County Sheriffs Office reported Monday that an inmate at the jail died by suicide over the weekend.Sheriff-Coroner Leo Dutton said in a statement that 25-year-old Benjamin  Jammer  Halverson of East Helena was found unresponsive i stanley cup n his cell shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18.An autopsy was performed by the State of Montana Pathologist in the Missoula Crime Lab who determined the cause stanley cup  of the death by suicide to be asphyxia due to hanging.Dutton said he has requested the Montana Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation to conduct an investigation in regard to the in-custody death. Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Coroner Jessie Billquist-Jette has been asked to  stanley cup preside over the death investigation. HELENA 鈥?After a turbulent journey through the Montana Legislature, the bill named after Hannah Harris, who was found murdered on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in 2013, passed the Senate 37-13 Tuesday.House Bill 21, also known as  Hannas Act,  would create a special position in the state De air force 1 partment of Justice that would investigate all missing persons cases in the state.The bills carrier, Sen Diane Sands  D-Missoula  said its key to addressing what she calls the  crisis  of missing Montanans.
